Today social tools like Facebook, Gmail, Yahoo!, and Smartphones have become very crucial for all internet users. We send lots of mails for business purpose, to friends and receive a lot of mail as well. The most interesting fact about Facebook is whether we check our mailbox daily or not but definitely will login to Facebook to witness friends’ status updates, to reply to the messages sent by nearer and dearer ones.
Before all this, SMS used to be the way of conveying your thoughts, wishes to your friends, families, colleagues. Through this journey, Apple had introduced iPhone, the sophisticated Smartphone to make mobile usage simple and friendly. So far everything is good, until and unless, by mistake if you delete some important messages on any of these tools. Then, the question would be – can we get back those deleted messages?
Yes, you can!
How to Recover Deleted Messages from Facebook
Earlier it was not possible to get back the messages once it is deleted. But still there is ray of hope of recovering the deleted messages in any of the three ways mentioned below:- Facebook has introduced a new feature to get back the deleted
messages but with a little bit of restrictions, like can be recovered at
the time of deletion of messages only. An Undo link will appear when
you delete single or a group of messages, either sent or received,
clicking on the Undo link you will be able to recover messages deleted
recently but still you can not recover the messages deleted long while
ago.
- Eventually you can get back those deleted messages in your primary
email id if you have enabled the send Email option when somebody sends
you message.
- Last but not the least if you have archived the messages, then also you can recover the deleted messages.
How to Recover Deleted Emails from Gmail
You might come across two scenarios. Temporary Deletion of Email – Once you delete emails from inbox, it is moved to Trash folder and Permanent Deletion of Email – Once you delete emails from Trash, it is deleted permanently.- Once you delete the emails temporarily, the emails are moved to
Trash folder. To recover the deleted messages from the Trash folder, you
need to perform the following steps:
- Having logged into your Gmail account successfully, navigate to Trash folder.
- Select the emails you want to get back rather restore to the inbox.
- Then click on Move to Inbox and you will be able to see the emails in your inbox.
- But if you had deleted the messages from trash as well, you would never be able to recover the emails any more, its’ gone forever. But if you are using any email client like lotus notes or outlook and you have configured these mail clients with Gmail and even though you have deleted the emails from trash folder, still there is a little chance to recover the emails from the cache of these mail clients. But this recovery has to be done as soon as possible because cache is cleared in periodic basis. So if the emails get deleted from the cache, then there is no ray of hope of getting those mails back.
